Talon stepped forward from the side of the building, glaring back at it with venemous eyes. When he turned back, he realized the girl was looking at him. No... that wasn't correct. She was looking toward him. Her eyes were unfocused, she was lost in thought. He had an idea of what she might've been told, though he wasn't completely clear on the details. Solemnly, he put a hand on her shoulder and stared at her, straight into her eyes. One... two... three. He dropped his hand again and turned away. That was all the comfort he would offer. At least she got any at all.
Quill watched, fascinated, when Talon steadied Raz. Though this was far from a display of emotion, he still had never seen Talon even acknowledge the existence of another, lest it be while fighting. He thought back to what the Shir'riek had said, about the three of them sticking together.
"Well then, I guess we should be moving on. Where to, little lady? Talon and I 'ave never really had a destination, so I s'ppose we're goin' wherever you are."
