History: When Halley was seven years old, her Saaran mother, Lynn Denardo, died giving birth to a baby girl, Halley's little sister. A few months later, the young, sickly Elizabeth died as well. Now, Halley has spend the last year or so, a long time for her, in a main Saar city, living the "black market" city life she has grown used to. Her father pays almost no attention to her anymore, making it easy to do as she wishes. As well, she completely refuses to use or develop her powers. Though she embraces and loves both of her two heritages, she is highly defensive and easily offended about her mixed-blood. In simple words, she's basically an aggressive, kickass bitch who loves knives.
Appearance: She is 5'3" with blonde hair and black streaks. She's petite and very physically fit, with a relatively small chest, just large enough to compliment her small body. She almost always wears darker colors, usually black, with a lot of metal and chains, and her eyes change color with her mood.
Cade Aurillian
Name: Cadence Aurillian

Powers: Ice, Teleportation, Scrying, as well as weak Light and Healing.
History: Born and raised as an arrogant, aristocratic Cizean, Cade was separated from his family at age 15 while they were travelling near the Illyrian homelands. During his seclusion in the forest, he was struck in the chest by an Illyrian "falling soul". When he awoke, he was found and taken in by the open-hearted Illyrians and raised by them. He found later that the "soul", according to a common Illyrian nursery rhyme, had given him a "gift" that strengthened everything about him. His senses, strength, powers, even his charisma was increased to a noticeable degree. Sometimes, it is as if he almost "glows". His magic, because of the "gift", is constantly growing and building to the point where he is subconsciously releasing it, healing and brightening anyone he passes, and it can build up so fast that he is sometimes able to hurl blasts of raw energy. The same spiritual encounter that gave him these gifts brought him a glimpse of the Shouded Lands, giving him the ability now to teleport between the realms, though he is as yet unaware of this ability.
Appearance: Cade has pale skin, with lean muscle and being relatively tall. He has shock-white hair with black underneath, and black lowlights in his sidebangs, illustrating his Cizean heritage. However, since the Encounter, his eyes have been gold, and he has had the ancient symbol for "soul" burned into his chest where the light orb had struck him. In his left ear, he wears one earring.
Talon
Name: Phoenix Mi'ith Aviera
Race: Unknown
Powers: Badassness and Godliness... wait...
History: He is a foreign traveller, who does not speak or understand the vernacular language of the elemental tribes. He travels with Quillian Smith, a mortal, displaced human. Quillian began calling him Talon, being at a loss for any other name, and it is the name that Talon responds to now as his own.
Appearance: Talon always wears a long, hooded black cloak with a mask underneath, showing only his bright violet eyes. The inside of the cloak is fitted with innumberable pockets and sleever where he hide an impossible amount of weapons.
His skin is extremely pale, and his hear is a flat jet black, with no other shades or highlights no matter how much time he spends in the sun. His shirt underneath is sleeveless, his pants fitted but not too tight.
Underneath his shirt, Talon is, to put it bluntly, ripped. His muscle is lean and thin, but rock hard and well-defined. On his back, Talon bears what, from far away, looks like a full-back tattoo. On closer inspection, however, these marks can easily be seen to be massive scars, deep gouges in his flesh, carved out into the design of a tribal Phoenix. The scars are so prominently shaped, that if someone runs their hands down his back, they can feel the deep hollows where his flesh has been carved out.

Raz Dacile
Name: Razelle Victoire Dacile
Race: Ruiken
Powers: Fire, Shapeshifting
History: Raz was raised with the usual Ruiken mentality: fight first, talk later. She was raised happily with her family in a nomadic community of Ruiks that lived luxoriously in "silk cities" while constantly moving from place to place. Although she spent most of her childhood growing up wrestling her three older brothers in the Barren Lands, her community of Ruiks often passed through the towns and markets of other Clans. Raz was taught how to swindle and steal and to use her shapeshifting abilities to provide for herself.
Headstrong, aggressive Raz had a confrontational relationship with her father, who wanted to force her into an unwilling marriage at a young age. Unlike most Ruikens, Raz's burning independance and personal pride kept her from submitting to her father's will. He died before the two ever reconciled and that fact has been haunting Raz since.
At the age of seventeen Raz split from her community and began to travel alone, choosing to work as a Rune-stealer, selling pilfered magic items at a family-owned stall in the Black Markets of the West.
She eventually took a break from the criminal life for a short period of time. Although she keeps it tightly hidden, Raz secretly entertained the crowds as a "fire dancer" at one point during her life, determined to make an honest living. Unfortunately, her idea failed when her past caught up to her and she once again began to steal and sell Runes in the Black Market.
Now nineteen, Raz was returning home for one of her routine visits and discovered that she arrived only hours after her entire comunity had been slaughtered. She has vowed revenge and taken up the golden sword of her ancestors to hunt down her family's killer.
Appearance: Wild red hair, amber eyes, golden tanned skin. Raz is thin and tall with a dancer's grace that she tries to hide by slouching and walking like a man. She has the ancient symbol for fire engraved on her left palm and a prayer to Azra tattooed in a circle on the nape of her neck. She carries with her a powerful Thurisaz Rune carved from a Ruby, wearing it as an earring in one ear, and wearing a stud in the other.

History: Quillian is a wanderer by choice, spending time here and there, everywhere really. He's genuine and sincere, and goes out of his way to help others. He travels with Talon, a loner he came across after they both got kicked out of a Feolan hub.
Appearance: Quill seems to be about in his forties or fifties. He has wrinkle lines on his face from all his smiles and years spent in the sun, which also made him very tan. His hair is a dark, dark brown, but starting to gray, and his eyes are a light, chocolatey brown.
